Why Paint Protection Film?

PPF does what wax, ceramic, and clear coat can't, it physically absorbs the impact.

Rock Chip Protection

Absorbs the impact of road debris before it reaches your paint.

Self-Healing

Light scratches and swirl marks vanish with heat from sun or hot water.

UV Resistance

Blocks harmful UV rays that cause oxidation, fading, and clear coat failure.

Hydrophobic Surface

Water beads off — making your car easier to wash and dry without spotting.

Bug & Sap Resistance

Stops bug splatter and tree sap from etching your finish in the summer sun.

Preserves Resale

Trade-in and resale appraisers reward original, unblemished paint.

10-Year Warranty

Manufacturer-backed coverage against yellowing, peeling, and delamination.

Invisible Finish

Optically clear — your paint shows through with no haze, no orange peel.

Common PPF Questions

What drivers ask before committing to paint protection film.

How long does PPF last?
Premium films like XPEL and SunTek last 10+ years with proper care. The manufacturer warranty covers yellowing, peeling, and delamination during that period.
Will PPF damage my paint when removed?
No. Quality PPF is designed for clean removal — when properly installed and removed within its lifespan, your factory paint underneath looks exactly like the day it was applied.
Can PPF go over an existing wrap?
Generally no — PPF is designed to bond directly to factory paint or a freshly painted surface. Installing over vinyl wraps voids the manufacturer warranty and can cause adhesion issues.
Does PPF really self-heal? How?
Yes. The top layer is an elastomeric polymer that re-flows when heated. Light scratches, swirl marks, and finger nails disappear with sun exposure or warm water from the hose.
How much of my car needs to be covered?
It depends on how you drive. Highway commuters typically protect the front end. Track-day drivers and exotic owners go full body. Our consultation walks through your driving habits and recommends the right zones.
Will I see edges or seams?
Modern computer-cut patterns wrap edges where possible. Where edges are visible, they're nearly invisible at arm's length — the film is optically clear and tucks just inside panel gaps.
Can PPF be combined with ceramic coating?
Absolutely — that's the gold-standard combo. PPF stops the rocks, ceramic coating goes on top of it for the deepest gloss and easiest maintenance.
How long does installation take?
Track Pack installs run 1 day. Front End packages are 2 days. Full Body coverage takes 3-5 days depending on the vehicle. We quote your exact timeline at the consultation.
